What we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it.
This policy explains what personal data InstaMassDM ("we", "us") collects when you use our website and Instagram outreach service, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the service you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account details - your name, email address and the Instagram username you connect.
- Payment information - processed by our payment provider, Stripe. We receive confirmation of a transaction and your billing email, but we never see or store your full card number.
- Campaign content - the messages you write, the audiences you build and any CSV lists you upload.
- Support correspondence - anything you send us by email or website chat.
Information collected automatically
- Usage data - pages viewed, features used, campaign statistics and error logs.
- Technical data - IP address, browser type, device type and operating system.
- Cookies - small files used to keep you signed in and to understand how the site is used.
2. How we use your information
- To operate the service, run your campaigns and show you reporting.
- To process payments, manage subscriptions and handle cancellations.
- To provide customer support and respond to your requests.
- To monitor reliability, prevent abuse and improve the product.
- To send service notices, and - only if you opt in - product updates and offers.
3. Instagram account access
To send messages on your behalf we need access to the Instagram account you connect. Access credentials are stored encrypted and used solely to carry out the campaigns you configure. We do not read your private conversations for any purpose beyond operating the features you have asked for, we do not sell or share your Instagram data, and you can disconnect an account at any time.
4. Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business, and only to the extent they need it:
- Payment processing - Stripe, for checkout, billing and cancellations.
- Infrastructure - hosting and database providers that store the service's data.
- Support and analytics tools - to answer your messages and understand product usage.
- Legal requirements - where we are required by law, or to protect our rights, users or the public.
5. Data retention
We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. After cancellation we retain what we need to meet legal, accounting and dispute-resolution obligations, then delete or anonymise the rest. You can ask us to delete your data sooner by emailing support@instamassdm.com.
6. Security
We use encryption in transit, encrypted storage of credentials and restricted internal access to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take the responsibility seriously and will notify affected users if a breach materially affects them.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, correct it, request deletion, object to or restrict certain processing, receive a portable copy, and withdraw consent for marketing at any time. To exercise any of these, email support@instamassdm.com. We respond within 30 days.
8. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember your preferences, plus analytics cookies to understand site usage. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies, though blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the service working.
9. Children
The service is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
10. International transfers
Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. Where that happens, we take steps to ensure it remains protected to a standard consistent with this policy.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page with a revised "last updated" date, and where appropriate by email.
